2021 Game Expectations
I have several games on preorder and some that I'm very interested in checking during 2021.
- Hood Strikes North - A GCACW game for me is an auto order. However, with MMP who knows when it will come out.
- Ultimate Railroads - A non wargame entry. Always liked Russian Railroads but never picked it up. So a reprint with all the expansion is a winner for me
- Command and Colors Medieval Expansion - Liked the C&C Medieval Yes I have I've read on Byzantine empire. I like the jump to the Crusader era. I thought about the CC Samurai version and almost order it. I may pick that up later from GMT
- Total Domination - Phalanx has been doing some awesome things lately. A quick? WWII game. This looked like a winner.
- 1941 Race to Moscow - Love the focus on logistics, and how the 3 players use the Russians to make life more difficult for their opponents
There are some others that I thought about not sure if they will make it this year, but I do have them preorders
- Hubris - The decline of the Hellenistic Empires. I like how the active players are the different empires with Rome the inevitable approach from the west.
- Seas of Thunder - Short on naval games and being a strategic version looks interesting.
- Normandy 44 - I like the systems as used in Holland and Ardennes so hopefully this will get out this year.
- I will look at Hollandspiele there are some older games that look good for soloing
- I also may look at Fort Circle games for the Sores of Tripoli or Halls of Montezuma.
