B-17 Queen of the Skies

Enthused by the missions of the Hamtaggry I wanted to get my plane the Bama Belle in the sky. I like starting a campaign in mission 12 it is still a challenge to get through 12 more missions.

This campaign has been particularly deadly to crew members, I've lost 3 killed and 2 send home due to wounds in the first 4 missions.

M13 St Omar - Off Target  0% - Milk run

M14 Antwerp - On Target 20% - 109 shot up the tail, tail gunner severely wounded and was sent home 190 shell exploded in cockpit Copilot killed instantly took a while for the pilot to realize all the blood on him was not his own. Ball Gunner 1 109

M15 St Nazaire - Off Target 0% - A109 knocked out #2 engine - fortunately the extinguishers put it out.  109 walking hits, knocked out port cheek, severely wound engineer, next pass knocked the top turret out and killed the engineer.  Engineer 109, 190 (really the Bombadier got the 109 but he said the engineer got it). Navigator 190.

M16 Emden - On Target 20% - 110 chewed up the tail and knocked out the rudder, autopilot and tail wheel, but miraculously missed the tail gunner. Flak chewed up the tail some more. 109 knocked out the #4 engine but it was successfully feathered. Later 109 hit the nose killing the Bombardier and severely wounding the navigator who was sent home. Even with all the damage the Belle landed safely.
