Been checking out few games
Command and Colors Napoleonic. I'm using Stuka Joe's solitare system to get a feel for how the game plays.
Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea. Civilization with out the trading and tech tree but all of the nasty events. A friend wants to play so I'm trying to do some solo action to check it out, so I can explain the game. There is a lot of chaos in the cards, lot of take that. Ok game but left me flat.
Played Versailles 1919 several times. Reminds me some of Founding Fathers. Except this time you are trying to write the treaty to end WWI to your advantage. Like how you may chose to push points to your opponent so you can control the event and new agenda item to the table.
Been trying out Race to Moscow 41. Interesting that you goal is to keep your forces supplied during the drive. As the Germans plunge deeper in Russia it gets harder to to get the supplies where you need them.
Want to get Banish the Snakes to the table. What an eclectic theme. Enable Christianity to Ireland before the pagan German tribes collapse Rome
